Well, I'm sort of glad that the vacation's almost up. I mean, when I'm teaching, I've got a nice, steady schedule, and the Agency can't just come around and make me work for them at all hour of the day...

Besides, it'll be nice getting a chance to talk to Mel every day. She's the librarian at the school where I work, really nice girl. Definitely one of my best friends, and she's a great conversationalist.

And then there's my kids -- students, I mean. I teach kindergarten, and those kids...they're pretty great. I mean, sure, they get on my nerves from time to time, but hey, what does that matter? They're like, 5, I expect that from them.

Yeah, well, whatever. All that means is soon I'm going to be back to work.

Oh my God I am so sick and tired of Valley Schmidt, that goddamn vampire stalker!

See, for the past year or so, he's been following me around, ever since me and my buddy David went on this mission -- it's a long story, actually, and I'm probably not even authorized to talk about it in detail -- to investigate a bunch of child killings. They suspected vampires so they put us on it, what with me having the Sight and all...So, it turns out this insane bastard has been after these little girls...anyway. So, me and David were going to have him sent in to our bosses and stuff, but he escapes. Next thing I know, he's following me around and talking about how "fascinating" I am.

And if that weren't enough, the asshole's been dropping by the school where I teach and scoping out my students. Who are, by the way, 5 and 6 years old. So yeah, I have definitely had enough of this...this monster following me around everywhere and trying to ruin my life. Jesus Christ, I need to figure out his weaknesses, and fast. A stake through the heart just doesn't do it anymore.
